PosT Office Approved Abbreviations

The post office prefers some items, such as the States, to be abbreviated.  Please select the following links for the proper abbreviations:

Note:  All other items should be spelled out fully!

Street Suffix Abbreviations: (Ex:  St for Street, Ave for Avenue, etc.)

County, State and Local Highways:  These streets should be spelled out - for example, County Road 8 NOT CR 8.
