Postage Types

There are 3 types of postage available. Each type of postage will get your piece mailed - deciding which one to use depends on the look you want for your piece.

Stamps We recommend using stamps on all letters and invitations. Stamps encourage people to open the mailpiece.	First Class - this rate will change yearly. In addition to the stamp bearing the denomination, customers can utilize the Forever Stamp which will work regardless of the change in postage

	Pre-Cancelled - Non Profit: This stamp is used for mail being sent at Standard Rates for a company with Non Profit status at the post office.

	Pre-Cancelled For Profit: This stamp is used for mail being sent at Standard Rates for a For Profit company.

	Pre-Cancelled - First Class Presort: This stamp is used on mail going at First Class Presort Rates.

Indicia (Permit Imprint): We recommend using indicias on newsletters, postcards and self-mailers	Non Profit - Standard Mail: This indicia is used when sending a piece at standard rates for a company with Non Profit status at the post office.

	For Profit - Standard Mail: This indicia is used for mail being sent at Standard Rates for a For Profit Company

	First Class Presort: This indicia is used on regular sized postcards for FOR Profit companies and any other mail going at First Class Presort Rates

Meter Strip	The Meter stip can be used for first class, first class presort or standard mail in place of an indicia or stamp.
